Coordinate commercial loan closings from underwriting approval through funding, ensuring completeness and resolving document discrepancies with underwriters, attorneys, client managers, and lenders. Book closed loans into the ACBS/FIS system, facilitate payoffs, manage a pipeline of pending credit actions, and help clear closing conditions. Serve as a subject matter expert for loan closing, support compliance with Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering requirements, and assist with special projects and loan disbursement/payment processing when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate all aspects of the commercial loan closing process to ensure loans close and facilities are funded per approval terms.
•Review approval documents for completeness, organize and spearhead closings, and handle initial funding and post-close exceptions.
•Compare documents, resolve discrepancies with underwriters, attorneys, client managers, and lenders, and facilitate payoffs of other financial institutions.
•Book newly closed commercial loans in the ACBS/FIS system (customers, guarantors, loan data, billing schedule, collateral, fees, penalties, and loan payment setup/ticklers).
•Monitor compliance with federal and state laws (including BSA and anti-money laundering), manage a pipeline of pending credit actions, and support special projects and loan operations as needed.

•Proficiency with PC tools including Outlook, Word, and Excel; thorough understanding of commercial loan documentation.
