Job Summary

Advise and execute pre-defined preventive maintenance and field services for heavy-duty gas turbines, including major inspections, borescope inspections, and overhauls for Frame 5 and Frame 6. Handle installation, commissioning, startups, diagnostic/troubleshooting, alignment (laser), and water wash/lube oil and cooling water procedures. Review technical inquiries using BH support, maintain modification histories, and coordinate with instrumentation engineering for electrical instrumentation calibration.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventive maintenance for Frame 5 (major inspections, HGPIs, LTPIs, CI) and Frame 6 (major inspections, HGPIs, LTPIs, CI).
•Perform borescope inspection and mechanical inspection of gas turbine auxiliaries system and gear boxes.
•Support GT installation, commissioning, startups, equipment start-up diagnostics, troubleshooting, water wash procedures, and lube oil/cooling water system flushes.
•Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning of oil system, starting system, fuel gas system, and air system.
•Handle laser alignment, interpret drawings for installation optimization, review NICs/TILs, respond to buyer technical inquiries, and maintain modification histories for covered units.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
•More than 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Refinery, or Turbomachinery industries.
•Ability to perform major inspections and overhauling independently for HDGT – Frame 52.
•Experience in stage 2 nozzles, and ability to perform laser alignments and borescope inspections on all machines.
•Be legally authorized to work in the UAE and be ok to work offshore.
