Key Responsibilities

  • •Own collection performance for the assigned geography and bucket(s), including monitoring portfolio movement and executing collection strategies.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2-5 direct reports, setting expectations and driving collection targets.
  • •Manage 3-6 collection agencies for the assigned geography, ensuring capacity, productivity, resolution outcomes, and quality/compliance adherence.
  • •Own resolution and recovery targets for the assigned portfolio by analyzing MIS and key collection metrics and implementing corrective actions.
  • •Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, company policies, and the collections code of conduct; proactively identify and address compliance/process gaps.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong understanding of the relevant region/state customer profile, including good and challenging pin codes from a risk perspective.
  • •Knowledge of local agencies and demonstrated ability to drive and manage collection agencies.
  • •Proficiency in the local language.
  • •Strong understanding of collections business and key collection metrics (resolution rates, flow rates, bounce rates, ROR, NC/skip ratio).
  • •Knowledge of the code of conduct for collections and ability to explain its importance.
