Job Summary

Lead day-to-day Safe and Secure operations for one or more Carvana facilities in Heath. Manage recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling for Safe and Secure associates and technicians while partnering with facility leadership on site safety, physical security, inventory control, crisis management, and business continuity. Oversee card access and security technology, investigate theft and fraud, track KPI/exception reporting, support EHS protocols, and manage local community coordination.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide day-to-day leadership for the Safe and Secure team, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling.
•Partner with facility leadership on associate safety, site safety, physical security, inventory control, crisis management, and business continuity; identify risks and implement solutions.
•Oversee vehicle exception tracking and stolen-vehicle reporting inquiries; partner with relevant managers and corporate insurance during reporting.
•Manage security controls at gates/access points, oversee safe and secure technology infrastructure, and lead the card access process for badges and building access.
•Track and report KPIs and exception-based reporting, support EHS protocol implementation, and provide project management support for market initiatives; represent Carvana locally with police/fire and emergency management.

Key Requirements

•At least 5 years of Safe and Secure leadership experience, preferably including distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment.
•At least 3 years of experience supervising and managing a team.
•Experience implementing risk mitigation programs and investigating/resolving theft and fraud issues.
•Experience leading OSHA program implementation in a distribution, warehousing, and fulfillment environment.
•Knowledge of how to utilize Microsoft systems; OSHA 10 Hour Training Certification preferred.
