Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver electrical engineering design work for assigned renewable and BESS projects under senior staff guidance.
  • •Partner with project engineering and management to develop electrical design schedules and budgets.
  • •Design solar PV and BESS systems including array layouts, DC string sizing, equipment layouts, and utility interconnections.
  • •Perform engineering calculations for electrical system design (e.g., NEC voltage limits, conductor sizing, overcurrent protection, voltage drop, conduit sizing).
  • •Support full project lifecycle activities from feasibility through commissioning and start-up, including specifications and construction drawing development.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, plus 4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • •Demonstrated experience designing and integrating utility-scale renewable and battery storage systems.
  • •Current experience leading electrical engineering design tasks under senior staff guidance.
  • •Experience with EPC-style, design/build projects from start to finish.
  • •Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including NEC and related standards such as IBC and NFPA 855.
