Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate product engineering deliverables for vehicle launch programs, including DFMEA, boundary diagrams, DVP&R, PVP&R, and DFSS disciplines.
  • •Develop commercially viable design solutions for new evaporative emissions/vapor valve opportunities.
  • •Complete prototype development work covering analysis, design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, and test.
  • •Support cost out, tool moves, tool wear outs, continuing engineering, and business pursuit efforts as workload allows.
  • •Collaborate across engineering, design, testing, program management, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain; communicate with Tier 1/2 customers and suppliers (prototype and production).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,000 - 126,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
  • •Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience.
  • •No employment immigration sponsorship/support is being offered for this position.
  • •Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Southfield, MI will be considered.
  • •Preferred: Master of Science in Engineering or background in fuel system vapor valves and automotive applications.
