Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute international and local field service within the BU Heat & Gas Systems 360 service portfolio via the International Marine Service Desk.
  • •Diagnose and solve vessel issues, reporting solutions and improvements, including handling cases involving third-party equipment or installations.
  • •Perform autonomous troubleshooting in the requested port and, when needed, sail with a vessel until the problem is solved.
  • •Provide qualified service and on-site training on BU Heat & Gas Systems products for customers.
  • •Document services with timely, compliant service reports and paperwork; assist in reviewing and developing Standard Operating Procedures.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of marine products, especially BU Heat & Gas Systems’ operating principles.
  • •Troubleshooting capability and ability to perform performance audits of marine products and applications.
  • •Good understanding of PLC and control systems, plus operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical devices.
  • •Fluent in written and oral English (CET-4 or above) with effective communication to customers.
  • •Strong reporting skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
