Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
  • •Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • •Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • •Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions and develop/modify nursing care plans.
  • •Ensure utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged while creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or Diploma in General Nursing.
  • •Desired: Midwifery and/or a postgraduate certificate/diploma in a relevant specialty area.
  • •Desired: 1 year post-graduate qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit.
  • •Infection prevention and control knowledge.
  • •Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and the ability to maintain accurate nursing records.
