Job Summary

Lead system and silicon debug for AMD EPYC Server and Instinct products within the post-silicon validation group, facilitating debug and resolution for system-level failures. Develop and execute debug strategy to meet milestones, drive root-cause analysis, and improve debug methodology. This role combines hands-on debugging with strategic planning and cross-functional leadership across global engineering teams to accelerate time-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

•Debug issues found during Silicon bring-up, Systems Validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
•Lead complex debug efforts for internal Silicon findings to identify root cause and resolution.
•Ensure issues are solved on time with quality.
•Manage and track technical issues, risks and priorities to un-gate program milestones.
•Publish debug program indicators to identify major roadblocks and drive changes to improve debug throughput.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering with 15+ years of applicable experience.
•Extensive validation experience debugging OS, firmware, silicon, and hardware issues.
•Understanding of industry-standard buses and their software stack, such as PCIe and CXL.
•Strong knowledge of x86 architecture, SoC design, memory, RAS & power management.
•Experience in platform/system level debugging interactions with OS, device drivers, and system BIOS; ability to drive tasks to completion.
