Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate school-wide attendance efforts and absenteeism prevention programs, educating families on the importance of attendance and intervening to address underlying issues.
  • •Collaborate with teachers to monitor adherence to attendance policies and communicate with families; manage truancy intervention meetings.
  • •Ensure compliance with state guidelines for attendance, progress, and system logins; manage withdrawals in accordance with policy.
  • •Produce attendance/truancy reports for the school, county, and state as required.
  • •Partner with the Student Support Team to refer students to service agencies when necessary and develop individualized action plans with families to increase attendance and engagement.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED
  • •Two years of truancy experience or equivalent
  • •Ability to pass required background check
  • •Knowledge of state school attendance laws
