Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise employees, in-house crews, and contractors performing operation and maintenance of the natural gas distribution system.
  • •Schedule distribution street crews, assess project scope, assign crews and skills balance, arrange special equipment, and ensure material needs are met.
  • •Ensure compliance by monitoring Gas Records for auditing accuracy and working with state and government regulatory agencies.
  • •Coordinate safety training, documentation, inspections, and accident investigations; use technical knowledge to support safe work environments and compliance.
  • •Serve as on-site supervisor during outages/emergencies, lead emergency response and restoration efforts, and conduct investigations for disciplinary actions and grievance resolution support.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ relevant experience (preferred), or an associate degree with 8+ years’ relevant experience (preferred), or a High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years’ relevant experience and completion of the relevant progression program.
  • •Knowledge of gas distribution construction and maintenance.
  • •Knowledge of industry federal and state regulations.
  • •Valid Driver’s License; required to obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications for natural gas.
  • •Strong communication, supervisory, and customer service skills, including availability to respond after hours during storms, emergencies, and critical assignments.
