Job Summary

Manage revenue contract reviews and ensure revenue recognition aligns with US GAAP and ASC 606. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close by preparing journal entries, performing variance analysis, and reconciling deferred and other revenue accounts. Collaborate with US revenue recognition, billing, revenue operations, GL, and finance teams to improve best practices, and assist with internal and external audits and system/process improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Review revenue contracts to ensure revenue recognition complies with US GAAP, ASC 606, and internal policies.
•Complete timely, accurate contract reviews at the end of each fiscal month.
•Participate in monthly and quarterly close by preparing journal entries, performing variance analysis, and reconciling deferred and other revenue accounts.
•Assist with internal and external audits.
•Collaborate with revenue recognition, billing, revenue operations, financial reporting, and GL teams, and support system implementation and process/control improvements.

Key Requirements

•5+ years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years with a Master’s degree.
•Fluency in German and English.
•Experience with US GAAP revenue recognition and accurate recording in accordance with ASC 606.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables.
•Experience in revenue recognition in a US software multinational and familiarity with large ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
