Key Responsibilities

  • •Evaluate moderately complex credit and collections applications using financial information and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
  • •Manage a large portfolio, including contacting customers with past due balances and handling promises and third-party collections where applicable.
  • •Oversee unapplied cash management and work with collections to resolve unreconciled cash items.
  • •Implement accounts receivable lean process improvements to improve master data quality and operational efficiency, and analyze receivables valuation.
  • •Secure credit decisions (including credit insurance/letters of credit/claims/guarantees) and ensure timely release of blocked sales orders; present in risk committee meetings and report disputed or short-paid invoices for resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree or vocational education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent (CA/CMA/MBA mandatory).
  • •Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • •At least 5 years of progressive work post qualification experience with at least 3 years in commercial finance.
  • •Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence colleagues outside one’s process domain.
  • •Experience evaluating creditworthiness, credit risk, and credit policy decisions using credit check systems and contract reviews.
