Key Responsibilities

  • •Process injection molding machine systems within appropriate process guidelines and meet daily production requirements.
  • •Coordinate with shift to maximize production output and provide general direction to packer and/or utility employees.
  • •Ensure product quality meets customer specifications by reviewing daily performance and responding to quality issues.
  • •Troubleshoot process-related issues, mold setups, and other IM equipment technical duties; set parameters and standards for molds.
  • •Train molding technicians, complete required process paperwork, and work with maintenance to address mechanical issues in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in injection molding (IM) processing or other plastic processing.
  • •Ability to verify finished product quality using measure/visual methods to control plan and respond to issues.
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting and basic mechanical repairs.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of proper safety procedures, including LOTO, and locating/understanding machine safeties.
  • •Ability to perform key production tasks such as color changes, processing changes for quality defects, and manual dexterity; ability to handle resin unloading from railcars.
