Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide accounting support to the production facility, including cost accounting, inventory control, accounts payable, payroll, billing, and preparation of plant control reports.
  • •Supervise maintenance of manufacturing, inventory, and finished goods ledgers and cost accounting activities, including payroll distribution and monthly reviews of general ledger accounts.
  • •Ensure inventory results and balances are reconciled and valued accurately per corporate policy, including adherence to SOX, internal auditing, and GAAP.
  • •Administer BOM audits/corrections and manage material/labor variances distribution to plant personnel; support slow-moving inventory (MRO and packaging) reporting.
  • •Supervise accounting team responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning/assigning work, appraising performance, and addressing issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field) and 5+ years of professional accounting experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience.
  • •2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
  • •Knowledge of accounting software, inventory/manufacturing systems, and Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and analytical tools).
  • •Solid understanding of cost accounting concepts.
  • •SAP experience is preferred.
