Job Summary

Lead end-to-end design research for early-stage, exploratory projects on Twilio’s Emerging Technology and Innovation team. You’ll uncover customer needs, pain points, and emerging trends, then translate insights into business and product strategy frameworks for senior leaders. Partner with Product and Design to drive zero-to-one experimentation through concepts, prototypes, and MVPs, while representing the customer across cross-functional discussions.

•Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative design research across early-stage exploratory projects to uncover customer needs, pain points, and emerging trends.
•Translate research findings into frameworks connecting customer insights to business and product strategy to guide prioritization and decision-making.
•Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior executives, product managers, and engineers.
•Collaborate with Product and Design to rapidly test hypotheses using concepts, prototypes, and MVPs.
•Represent the voice of the customer in every conversation and advocate for solutions that surprise and delight customers.

•Mastery of research methods including ethnography, contextual inquiry, co-creation workshops, and rapid concept validation.
•Experience with qualitative and quantitative data and the ability to shift between big-picture thinking and tactical execution.
•Bachelor’s or advanced degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related discipline.
