Job Summary

Act as a Retail Personal Banker I focused on consultative selling in a Financial Center environment. Build customer profiles using Financial Needs Assessments, maintain product knowledge for retail consumer and small business solutions, and use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out and set appointments. Cross-sell, support outside sales/community events, refer customers to business partners, and meet customer experience and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed, including community financial literacy events and business sales calls.
•Process teller transactions and provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referral processes while meeting customer experience and production goals.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to maintain a working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures, and obtain/maintain S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment via NMLS.
