Key Responsibilities

  • •Take responsibility for residents’ physical, emotional and social well-being and ensure their needs are met.
  • •Manage the unit alongside clinical duties, including oversight of care and administering/ordering medication.
  • •Assess residents and develop, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
  • •Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies and legislation.
  • •Coach and guide the team with teaching programmes for colleagues and care professionals, including providing clinical guidance continually.
