Perform heat treat operations (hardening, tempering, annealing, stress relief, shrinking, maraging) on ferrous and non-ferrous parts; read route sheets, set furnace atmosphere and temperature, load parts, inspect quality, and maintain equipment; contribute to safe, efficient production in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Read route sheets to determine sequence of operations, furnace conditions, and necessary equipment
•Set furnace atmosphere and temperature, adjust gas mixture or electrical controls for correct furnace condition
•Load/unload parts and ensure proper spacing in the furnace
•Monitor temperature/atmosphere with charts and gauges and make adjustments as needed
•Perform in-process inspection as a certified operator and record process data

•High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred, with basic educational competencies (reading, writing)
