Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the shared foundation and building blocks that other software uses inside Firefox, ensuring reliability and security.
  • •Advance the WebDriver BiDi open standard and develop Firefox-only advantages where the standard falls short.
  • •Design safety controls so users can approve actions, see when software is acting for them, and take back control.
  • •Define strategy for major third-party AI assistants people already use.
  • •Serve internal teams and outside tools through one shared layer, measured by adoption, usage volume, and sustained reliability/security.

  • •Be a product-minded engineer or a very technical PM able to drive a technical product and shared platform layer.
  • •Have experience spanning developer space and internal platforms while balancing consumer and platform considerations.

  • •Strong security and trust instincts to design reliable, secure safety controls and platform behavior.
