Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop communications strategies, delivery plans, project narratives, key messages, and collateral for multiple audiences, and manage communications channels.
  • •Identify and map key stakeholders and establish engagement strategies and delivery plans to support consultation delivery.
  • •Develop surveys, manage stakeholder feedback channels, and analyze consultation responses; deliver events (physical and virtual) including logistics and tailored materials.
  • •Liaise with internal and external clients to ensure customer service and accurate, timely reporting.
  • •Drive business development by proactively identifying opportunities, pitching, building connections within AECOM, and developing proposals/tender responses; manage projects, teams, and budgets with support for junior colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience delivering communications, engagement, and consultation on projects of different sizes and scales, ideally major infrastructure schemes.
  • •Demonstrated track record in business development: spotting opportunities, nurturing relationships, and turning them into commercially viable ventures.
  • •Experience managing teams of different sizes and complexity, including supporting junior colleagues with career development and line management responsibilities.
  • •Strong experience engaging a variety of audiences and stakeholder groups in relevant sectors such as infrastructure, energy, water, transport, or residential and commercial development.
  • •Hold a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent years of successful, relevant experience).
