Oversee the purchase of technical equipment for industrial operations, working with designers to define required specifications. Research and source vendors, evaluate supplier proposals for technical compliance and cost-effective solutions, and place orders to support manufacturing and construction projects. Develop procurement strategies and policies, provide market insights, manage supplier/material information, and use financial and quantitative data to improve performance, reduce supply costs, and deliver value and savings objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee purchasing of technical equipment for industrial operations, collaborating with designers to determine equipment needed for manufacturing or construction projects.
•Develop procurement management strategies, policies, processes, and procedures to improve operational performance and business value.
•Research vendors, maintain supplier/material/service information, and secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules while maintaining quality.
•Use market insights, competitive insights, and financial/quantitative data to manage measurable goals, optimize sourcing, and improve performance.
•Support HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution aligned with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8 years of working experience with 5 years of relevant experience.
•Proficiency in engineering principles and technical specifications to understand project requirements and communicate with suppliers.
•Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier proposals, technical compliance, and cost-effective solutions.
•Knowledge of procurement processes and regulations to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
•ERP knowledge with preference for SAP functional skills.
