Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as a MongoDB representative within India’s startup ecosystem by building and maintaining relationships across the community
  • •Develop and execute a targeted startup acquisition strategy to engage and convert startups into the MongoDB for Startups program
  • •Create and drive a regional event strategy with high-impact founder programming (including VC-partnered events, demo days, hackathons, and founder dinners)
  • •Partner with internal teams and startup customers to surface and develop compelling stories highlighting startups building on MongoDB
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally (Marketing, Ventures, Strategic Events, Sales, Builder Relations), measure impact with engagement metrics, and continuously optimize programs

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience in marketing, community, ecosystem, or events roles focused on startups, developers, or technical founders
  • •Experience leading projects or programs and collaborating across teams to drive initiatives from strategy through execution
  • •Familiarity with the Indian startup ecosystem, ideally with relationships across founders, VCs, accelerators, and founder communities
  • •Experience working in or closely with startups or venture capital firms and understanding how early-stage companies operate and grow
  • •Ability to be highly organized and execution-oriented while managing multiple initiatives and stakeholders and delivering high-quality programs
