Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute and maintain ICA technology platforms across the site, with hands-on ownership of mechanical-automation interfaces and support for troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimization.
  • •Ensure technical compliance with Global Electrical Specification, Electrical Safety, Machine Safety, and Mechanical Design standards.
  • •Implement and execute the integrated ICA + Automation Solutions Masterplan for physical and digital automation, including obsolescence mitigation for control systems, electrical hardware, and mechanical automation assets.
  • •Act as primary technical solution owner for automation projects, integrating mechanical, electrical, and control disciplines by design and personally reviewing designs, code, and mechanical integrations.
  • •Provide technical scope and cost estimates for capital and operating expense budget execution, coordinating expense coverage with relevant site and digital leaders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering (preferred), or an equivalent combination of Mechanical + Electrical/Control engineering disciplines.
  • •Deep, hands-on proficiency in mechatronic systems, integrating mechanical design, electrical control, sensors, actuators, and embedded/PLC-based control.
  • •Demonstrated execution with ICA technologies including Continuous & Batch Process Control, Instruments, ControlLogix PLCs, Wonderware, motion control, vision systems, servo drives, robotics, AGVs, networks, and sensors.
  • •Practical mechanical automation design knowledge, including kinematics, pneumatics/hydraulics, conveyors, robotic cells, end-of-arm tooling, and machine dynamics.
  • •Fluent in English; able to personally execute technical work while coaching engineers and technicians and driving standards adherence.
