Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead hands-on development of cylindrical EDLC supercapacitor cells, including cell construction, prototyping, testing, process optimization, and manufacturing scale-up.
  • •Own the full cell development lifecycle from design implementation through process development, pilot-line execution, manufacturing transfer, and production support.
  • •Develop repeatable cell assembly methods, process flows, work instructions, tooling/fixtures, and process controls across lab, pilot, and production.
  • •Define and optimize critical process parameters for electrode handling, stacking or winding, electrolyte filling, sealing, fixturing, inspection, and cell assembly operations.
  • •Select, qualify, and optimize manufacturing equipment and tooling; support pilot-line and production ramp-up while troubleshooting and performing root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process development, electrochemical device development, precision assembly, or related industries.
  • •Experience developing products or manufacturing processes from laboratory development through pilot builds and early production.
  • •Strong process development, manufacturing, tooling, fixturing, and assembly knowledge, including selecting and optimizing manufacturing equipment.
  • •Familiarity with supercapacitors, batteries, or similar energy storage/electrochemical devices is preferred.
