Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and ship foundational primitives such as reusable build artifacts and application-level deployment instead of one-off features.
  • •Drive performance improvements across caching, incremental builds, monorepo workflows, and build compute options for higher-capacity workloads.
  • •Make failures fast to diagnose via failure classification, surfacing root causes at the point of failure, and metrics for improving debuggability.

  • •Ability to set direction across multiple quarters, drive alignment across engineering, design, and go-to-market without owning those teams.
  • •Ability to think in primitives and platforms, finding reusable underlying capabilities rather than one-off fixes.
  • •Clear communication with both technical and executive stakeholders, including defending tradeoffs and prioritizing under capacity limits.
