Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines, including CDC streams into tables in Snowflake and downstream data activation (egress).
  • •Lead reliability and resilience efforts by establishing testing standards, SLAs (uptime, RTO, RPO), and disaster recovery playbooks.
  • •Build observability and governance frameworks for monitoring, logging, lineage, and auditing, and define governance policies to ensure data integrity and trust.
  • •Develop self-service tools, frameworks, and automation that reduce manual effort and enable teams across engineering, analytics, and data science.
  • •Mentor and lead engineers while partnering with technical program managers and cross-team leaders to define roadmaps and improve system scalability, consistency, and uptime.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience building batch and real-time data processing and large-scale data transformation, including dimensional modeling (star/snow-flake schemas).
  • •Experience with lakehouse/warehouse management, data serialization, and workflow orchestration.
  • •Strong AWS proficiency to design and implement data solutions.
  • •Proven reliability and DevOps practices, including infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation), observability (logging/monitoring/tracing), and system reliability.
  • •Technical leadership in architecture and system design, guiding teams through complex projects while mentoring engineers.
