Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage retail or further processing production lines/departments to meet production schedules, improve efficiencies, and meet budget objectives.
  • •Deploy/rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics while meeting schedules; maintain accurate daily reporting (attendance, staffing, yields, departmental reports).
  • •Identify and communicate process optimization opportunities (throughput, waste reduction, product quality, ergonomics) and reduce/eliminate repeat deficiencies.
  • •Lead or participate in planning and implementing process improvements, track improvement metrics, and respond to unfavorable trends.
  • •Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain food-safe, sanitary operations; mentor, coach, train, administer performance improvement plans, and administer disciplinary actions consistently; enforce safety initiatives and PPE.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years’ experience in a manufacturing setting; 3+ years’ experience in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
  • •1+ years’ leadership experience with timekeeping requirements, policy adherence, conflict resolution, and efficient issue resolution; 3+ years preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, GMP, and HACCP.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree with relevant coursework preferred.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) with internal and external customers in a timely, professional manner.
