Key Responsibilities

  • •Accountable for domain health, backlog prioritization, and overall efficacy as the ultimate point of contact.
  • •Lead hardest detection challenges by defining design patterns, coding standards, and detector implementation blueprints.
  • •Establish validation/tuning criteria for maintainable detection content using design/code reviews and root-cause analyses.
  • •Drive core metrics for area health, including detection fidelity, ATT&CK coverage, and false-positive/negative rates with regression prevention.
  • •Translate inputs from threat intelligence, proactive threat hunting, and SOC analyst feedback into roadmap priorities and continuous engine improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep detection experience in at least one area: Endpoint (MDR), Cloud/SaaS, Identity, Email, or SIEM.
  • •Strong understanding of how attackers operate, with fluent use of ATT&CK to guide coverage decisions.
  • •Detector-as-code practices using version control, code review, and controlled deployment (Git, CI/CD).
  • •Track record of owning technical work end-to-end and being accountable for quality with minimal oversight.
  • •Foundational understanding of AI/ML and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes in your domain.
