Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn and demonstrate CRH’s safety culture, supporting safety as a core value in daily operations.
  • •Develop hands-on understanding of aggregate operations across quarry, plant, and mobile equipment environments, including production and maintenance tasks.
  • •Learn drilling & blasting, mine plan execution, and material movement to improve efficiency and reduce rehandling.
  • •Gain experience with production and performance systems (e.g., PEAK), including production tracking, downtime coding, and performance analysis.
  • •Partner with Quality Control and support small capital projects from planning through execution and closeout, participating in cross-site rotations and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred bachelor’s degree in civil, mining, mechanical, or related engineering/construction discipline.
  • •Preferred internship, co-op, or prior experience in mining, construction, manufacturing, heavy industry, or similar hands-on operational environments.
  • •Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and strong desire to learn and grow in an operational leadership role.
  • •Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States; must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, criminal background check, and driving record review.
  • •Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to work flexible schedules (nights/weekends/holidays) and travel/work away from home when required.
