  • •Develop strong working relationships with clients and staff while maintaining project standards and meeting/exceeding client expectations.
  • •Perform drainage design and production for transportation projects, including hydraulics/hydrology calculations and drainage plan preparation.
  • •Use applicable policies, methods, practices, and procedures for drainage design.
  • •Assist in designing open and closed collection and conveyance systems for transportation projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related) plus 4 years of experience as a Drainage Engineer (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE).
  • •Experience designing drainage conveyance systems and preparing plans compliant with state DOT standards.
  • •Experience with pond design, including grading, hydrology, hydraulics, and control structure design.
  • •Experience with Microstation, GEOPAK, OpenRoads, StormCad (or equivalent CAD software), HY-8, ICPR, HEC-RAS, and MS Office.
