Job Summary

Design trusted, governed data and AI architectures that scale—from semantic layer definitions to downstream dashboards, applications, and AI agents. Build a natural-language data agent using LLM/agentic workflows (RAG, tool/function calling, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails) and co-design semantic foundations to ensure agents query governed business meaning. Serve as technical lead, translate executive needs into engineering requirements, and deliver features end-to-end with strong Python/SQL engineering on Snowflake/DBT.

Key Responsibilities

•Design reference architectures and delivery patterns that take governed data from the semantic layer to dashboards, applications, and AI agents at scale.
•Architect and build a Data Agent natural-language interface, including agentic workflows with orchestration, tool/function calling, retrieval, evaluation, and guardrails.
•Co-design the semantic layer (HoneyDew / DBT), defining metrics/dimensions and governed business meaning for analytics and AI.
•Serve as technical lead and trusted advisor by setting patterns, running design reviews, and mentoring engineers with the Data Engineer to productionize designs.
•Translate ambiguous business problems into clear technical requirements and own stakeholder relationships from executive framing to engineering detail.

Salary: 54,375 - 90,625

Key Requirements

•8+ years across data architecture and hands-on engineering for production enterprise systems.
•Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with deep experience designing and building on Snowflake and DBT.
•Proven experience designing and building LLM/agentic solutions, including RAG, function/tool calling, orchestration, prompt engineering, and evaluation/observability.
•Deep understanding of the semantic layer and how it bridges source data to business meaning for trustworthy AI.
•Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and influence architecture decisions across teams.
