Job Summary

Shape and execute a global materials sourcing strategy by building a segmented mill portfolio aligned to apparel brand needs. Use Supplier Performance Management (SPM) results to optimize Tier 2 supplier performance, drive material rationalization, and run seasonal/lifecycle reviews. Partner cross-functionally with sourcing, PLM, and data teams to improve material data systems and analytics, and lead/mentor the Senior Analyst to deliver cost, quality, innovation, and sustainability outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain a strategically segmented mill base to support VF’s apparel sourcing strategy.
•Use SPM results to evaluate and optimize Tier 2 supplier performance, including supplier onboarding, offboarding, and reallocation decisions.
•Drive material rationalization and lead seasonal and lifecycle reviews of core materials to ensure continued relevance and alignment.
•Lead the development of dashboards/tools to track mill performance, material utilization, and cost efficiency, partnering to deliver insights for negotiations.
•Manage and mentor the Senior Analyst; support the Director in building a high-performing, collaborative cross-brand team.

Key Requirements

•Strong knowledge of supplier segmentation, mill capabilities, and sourcing strategies.
•Experience using Supplier Performance Management frameworks to inform strategic decisions.
•Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau (or similar analytics platforms) and experience with PLM systems and digital material libraries.
•Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and synthesizing data into actionable strategies.
•Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, influence stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively.
