Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with your squad to build and support a specific part of Monzo’s backend.
  • •Work with cross-functional teams (PMs, designers, data analysts and engineers) to ship features that improve customer outcomes.
  • •Contribute to distributed systems, resilient software and scalable backend services.
  • •Engage with Go, Cassandra, Kafka, Kubernetes and other listed technologies during development.
  • •Participate in Monzo’s engineering progression framework and onboarding.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience building backend services for a technology product, with a focus on reliability and scalability.
  • •Experience with distributed systems and writing resilient software.
