Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain automated test tools and equipment, including support and improvements to test fixtures.
•Develop software applications for automated test equipment used in integration/testing of electromechanical biomedical devices and design hardware for automated test systems.
•Collaborate with drafting teams, model shops, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to design and build improved assembly and test equipment.
•Provide engineering support for new product development to ensure testing equipment meets reliability, performance, and process capability requirements.
•Author and review software verification and validation documents to ensure requirement coverage and compliance/performance standards are met.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 73,500 - 117,600 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience in software development with National Instruments LabVIEW, C# (willing to learn LabVIEW), or web development (willing to learn LabVIEW or C#).
•Experience designing mechanical jigs and fixtures, writing test specifications/procedures, and performing basic/statistical analysis.
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or related field).
•Ability to perform the physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements for the position with or without accommodation.
•Strong engineering judgment, problem-solving, collaboration, verbal and written communication skills, and adherence to coding and quality standards.
