Based in Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela, the role requires technical discipline oversight, CAD/drawing collaboration, and the ability to support multi-disciplinary teams across Oil & Gas projects with Emphasis on process instrumentation, valves, and sizing.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and draw discipline-specific deliverables, including design bases and criteria, system architectures, control philosophies, and instrument narratives.
•Ensure project designs meet applicable codes and engineering standards, coordinating with other discipline engineers to maintain integrity across projects.
•Prepare instrument and control equipment lists, data sheets, and documentation within project budgets and timelines.
•Provide technical advisory and client support, working with Wood’s project team to deliver engineering deliverables.
•Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and according to company needs.

Key Requirements

•10-15 years of Oil & Gas engineering experience with a focus on instrumentation and control
•Engineer role or related field in instrumentation and control disciplines
•Proficiency with technical tools including Fisher valve specifications, Instrucalc, Regulators & relief valve toolkit, Valvestar, Autocad, Applicator de E&H, Sizing & selection of Emerson
•Base location: Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela
•English 75% desirable and/or ability to work in English environments
