Job Summary

Ensure electrical works for a large-scale data center project meet approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and applicable codes. Implement the electrical quality management process, review inspection and test documentation, and conduct site inspections across MV/LV power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, cabling, grounding, lighting, and containment. Track NCRs, verify corrective/preventive actions, maintain quality records, and support testing, commissioning, and handover readiness.

Job Function: QA, Test & Release Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Support implementation of the project quality management system for electrical works.
•Review approved electrical drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection and test plans, and material submittals against project quality requirements.
•Conduct site inspections for MV/LV power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, cable trays, containment, cabling, grounding, lighting, small power, and related installations.
•Monitor contractor performance and verify inspection requests, material approvals, test reports, installation checklists, cable test records, grounding test records, and quality documentation.
•Identify non-conforming work, support issuance/closeout of NCRs, track corrective and preventive actions, and support testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover readiness.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of QA/QC, electrical engineering, electrical inspection, or construction quality experience on large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
•Prior experience on data center, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale building projects.
•Strong understanding of electrical systems including MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS, grounding, containment, cabling, lighting, and small power.
•Experience reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, inspection requests, test reports, NCRs, punch lists, and quality records.
