Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the SME for USCIS on low-voltage matters and support low-voltage security installations and changes.
  • •Schedule testing services and conduct onsite inspections in designated facilities.
  • •Review building plans for accurate cabling and security setup; note deficiencies and coordinate corrections with the assigned project manager.
  • •Create security cabling requirements into Statements of Work and coordinate security vulnerability scanning for designated operations centers/domains.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience with cabling (Cat5/Cat6) and cable installation, including rack-and-stack of switches, servers, panels, and workstations.
  • •Familiarity with electronic security systems such as Access Control Systems (ACS), Video Surveillance Systems (VSS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
  • •Ability to read technical drawings and review building plans to verify cabling and security setup.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance eligibility.
