Key Responsibilities

  • •Work vendor and subscription contracts from initial purchases through renewals, leading or supporting negotiations with consistent tactics.
  • •Set up primary and backup preferred vendors for high-use consumable categories and implement a vendor vetting process for high-value categories.
  • •Build and maintain the contract/renewal calendar and tracking system, including reorder thresholds and approval workflows.
  • •Coordinate procurement/purchasing software usage with the Automation Team and labs for inventory and reorder tracking, and keep sourcing documentation up to date.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Labs to manage vendor contracts, payment terms, budgets, and support major purchases and vendor decisions.

Salary: USD 85,000 - 95,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4–7 years in procurement, supply chain, lab operations, or a related function.
  • •Experience negotiating vendor/subscription contracts and managing renewals.
  • •Strong understanding of life science reagent and consumable supply chains (manufacturers, distributors, GPO programs).
  • •Bachelor's degree required; science background (biology, chemistry, or related) preferred.
  • •Experience with procurement software and PO workflow management, plus basic financial literacy (budget tracking, invoice reconciliation, cost-per-unit analysis).
