Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and maintain relationships with global tech, business, and consumer reporters across multiple markets
  • •Own the founder’s external presence end-to-end, including podcasts, keynotes, panels, op-eds, and on-record interviews
  • •Write and defend the company narrative consistently across internal and external stakeholders
  • •Drive earned coverage through podcasts and long-form placement, along with launch/announcement planning and embargo decisions
  • •Own reputation and crisis readiness, including response plans and spokesperson bench training

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in PR or communications with experience in consumer tech, including some in-house work
  • •Proven, self-built placements in outlets such as The Verge, TechCrunch, WSJ, Bloomberg, FT, Wired, and The Information
  • •A current, live network of reporters and podcast producers (ability to name names)
  • •Strong writing under pressure, including op-eds, message houses, and statements
  • •Good judgment on what is actually a story, and ability to operate across different market contexts
