Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure the product development team (including ODM/OEM suppliers) follows the Philips V-model process for products that are safe and reliable in the field.
  • •Coordinate system integration activities during design development phases and define the product verification strategy.
  • •Translate business and user requirements into product requirements and develop system testing and verification activities.
  • •Develop and follow up on product design FMEA that feeds into element design FMEAs.
  • •Set up and use the project database to document Philips V-model outputs and communicate V-model maturity to management.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid system engineering knowledge, including system requirements definition, DFMEA, test protocol, verification & validation (V&V), and reliability analysis.
  • •5+ years of experience in a product development environment with end-to-end exposure across the product development lifecycle (concept to release).
  • •Awareness of system integration and system verification planning and execution.
  • •Ability to build requirement management using Doors or Codebeamer (or similar tools) is preferred.
  • •Fluency in English (written and verbal) plus strong communication and presentation skills for structured, concise technical documentation.
