Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain mechanical BIM models for building services.
  • •Create and update model elements for HVAC systems, chilled water distribution, ventilation systems, and smoke management systems.
  • •Generate technical drawings and schedules from models.
  • •Support clash detection activities through model preparation and ensure model quality and consistency with BIM standards.
  • •Maintain model standards and project templates, ensuring compliance with project BIM execution plans and supporting BIM team delivery tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM Modelling within a building services environment.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical building services systems and how they are represented in BIM.
  • •Proficiency in BIM tools including Revit (MEP), AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
  • •Understanding of BIM Level 2 / LOD standards and familiarity with UAE / GCC codes and regulations for mechanical system design.
