Key Responsibilities

•Drive Category Strategy: Lead the strategic management of assigned high-value packaging categories across Australia and New Zealand, developing and executing category strategies that reflect business priorities, market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and long-term value opportunities.
•Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Execution: Lead end-to-end sourcing activity from opportunity identification through to implementation, including RFX processes, negotiations, supplier selection, contracting in close collaboration with Legal, and execution of agreed outcomes.
•Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted strategic partner to senior stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and other key functions, influencing decision-making, enabling innovation, supporting growth initiatives, and driving end-to-end value creation.
•People Leadership & Team Development: Provide thought leadership and day-to-day guidance to team members, building capability, accountability, engagement, and strong performance while fostering an inclusive culture.
•Market Intelligence & Risk Management: Build understanding of market dynamics, commodity/cost drivers, inflation trends, and supply risks; translate insights into actions to mitigate risk and enhance resilience.

•Commercial acumen with experience managing P&L, budgets, and forecasting.
