Job Summary

Provide exceptional technical support and service customer sites across automation and controls, HVAC, and BMS to maximize satisfaction and minimize downtime. Based in Christchurch, you will service, maintain, calibrate, and commission Honeywell and third-party equipment, diagnose and repair faults, and deliver service projects including design, documentation, procurement, programming, and commissioning. Work with control system interfaces and liaise directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Service, maintenance, and commissioning of Honeywell and third-party equipment (per trade expertise).
•Perform day-to-day servicing, calibrations, and maintenance, including diagnosing and repairing faults and programming/commissioning across HVAC and BMS.
•Deliver service projects including design, documentation, procurement, programming, and commissioning.
•Navigate and interrogate control system interfaces.
•Estimate materials costs and quantities and ensure customer satisfaction via direct liaison with client representatives and service recipients.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•A Trade Certificate in a related field is essential.
•At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in BMS and HVAC.
•Experience with Building Automation DDC controls or PLC controls.
•Must hold a valid driver’s licence and be able to travel to required sites.
•Intermediate computer skills and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
