Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end, including outcomes/metrics, backlog prioritization, and crisp acceptance criteria for building and testing.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering: system boundaries, money-movement correctness (idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation), failure/retry/refund paths, security, latency, scalability, and recovery.
  • •Make hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, and defend decisions to engineering, compliance, or ops leadership.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency/privacy) and define launch gates vs readiness.
  • •Apply AI responsibly by defining allowed decisions, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation approach, and behavior when unsure; ensure AI outputs trace to real records.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end with strong judgement under ambiguity and decisiveness.
  • •Comfort reviewing and challenging system design (boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, concurrency/consistency).
  • •Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain (e.g., payments, banking, remittance, insurance) or strong fast-ramp ability; understands money-movement correctness.
  • •Hands-on with LLM-based products, including framing features as eval-able, managing hallucination/drift/data gaps, and knowing when a model must not be in the loop.
  • •Nice to have: engineer or highly-technical PM background, zero-to-one, shipped AI-heavy consumer products, or SEA market experience.
