Key Responsibilities

•Data Center Heat Rejection and HVAC System Design: Develop heat rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers with cooling strategies, redundancy, energy efficiency, and industry standards compliance.
•Cooling System Selection: Select air/water side cooling systems (Fan wall units, CRAHs, chilled water, DX, CRAC, in-row cooling) based on data center needs.
•CFD Analysis: Conduct internal and external CFD simulations to optimize airflow, identify hotspots, and recommend design modifications.
•Redundancy and Fault Tolerance: Design HVAC systems with backup cooling, automatic switchover, and monitoring for uninterrupted operation.
•Heat Load Calculation and Capacity Planning: Perform heat load calculations and capacity planning to support IT equipment growth and phasing.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 195,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
•Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation.
•P. E. registration is required.
•Preferred Qualifications include a bachelor's in mechanical/HVAc engineering, knowledge of TER Topology (Uptime Institute), and professional certifications (CEM, BEMP, LEED).
•Relocation is not available for this position
