Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze site and engineering inputs (surveys, blueprints, schematics, HVAC load calculations, and system performance reports) for HVAC design and construction.
  • •Assist senior engineering staff with HVAC concept development, preliminary and final design, and construction-administration improvements.
  • •Perform field assessments and visual inspections of HVAC equipment, mechanical rooms, ductwork, hydronic piping, and control systems for code and standards conformance.
  • •Support preparation of specifications, mechanical schedules, and coordination of HVAC plans and infrastructure layout updates with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • •Prepare HVAC calculations and design deliverables, including load calculation tables, airflow diagrams, equipment schedules, and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.

  • •7 to 10 years of post-education experience with direct HVAC and mechanical system design.
  • •Proficiency in HVAC engineering principles and building project system design processes.
  • •Experience with HVAC load calculations, mechanical efficiencies, and energy code compliance plus HVAC construction administration.
  • •Highly proficient with AutoCAD and Revit for HVAC design and load-calculation/spreadsheet-based analysis.
