Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote safe work habits and ensure compliance with environment, health and safety (EHS) rules.
  • •Ensure equipment, parts, and personnel are available through procurement and inventory management to complete work orders with minimum downtime.
  • •Create, delegate, and review daily work orders; close work orders after discrepancies versus the plan are resolved.
  • •Develop and improve preventative and predictive maintenance programs while monitoring progress on extended problems and projects.
  • •Manage spare parts inventory systems (cycle counts, vendor managed inventory) and coordinate outside contractors when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5-7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of mechanical crafts and procedures including the millwright trade, pipefitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, sheet metal, and machinist skills.
  • •Strong working knowledge of electricity (AC/DC), electronics, power distribution, and circuitry protection.
  • •Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with people across educational and technical backgrounds.
  • •Willingness to work a flexible schedule and maintain regular attendance.
