Key Responsibilities

  • •Work safely and promote the Pick-n-Pull Safety Culture, using assigned PPE correctly and collaborating with a safety buddy.
  • •Remove and extract materials and fluids (e.g., Freon, power steering fluid, batteries, gasoline, coolant, waste oil, catalytic converters) according to prescribed procedures.
  • •Position vehicles for customer access to sellable parts and restore the area between vehicle sets.
  • •Dismantle engines and transmissions, harvest and sort cores and commodity materials, and operate the tire machine to prepare tires for shipment.
  • •Assist customers professionally, prepare shipping materials (Gaylord boxes and pallets), complete regulatory/tracking logs, maintain stormwater control devices, and assist with equipment inspection and upkeep.

  • •Follow verbal and written instructions, including understanding safety messages, labels, and hazard communications for materials like waste oil, gasoline, and flammable items.
