Job Summary

Oversee and deliver complex, multi-disciplinary transit engineering projects as both technical lead and project manager across the Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina region. Lead planning, design, and delivery for light rail, BRT, commuter rail, and related facilities while ensuring QA, standards compliance, and client requirements. Support engineering budgets, schedules, scope/estimates, mentor engineering staff, and drive regional business development through client engagement and proposal pursuits.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as Project Manager and Technical Lead on complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-modal transportation projects.
•Oversee planning, design, and delivery of multimodal/transit infrastructure including streetcars, LRT, BRT, commuter rail, and related facilities.
•Ensure project execution through coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders, including quality assurance and compliance with standards and client requirements.
•Develop engineering budgets, schedules, and resource plans; write scope and estimate projects.
•Support business development by engaging clients, supporting proposal development and pursuit strategy, and assisting with go/no-go decisions through market research.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS in an engineering discipline plus 10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).
•Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng.) license required.

•Experience delivering engineering projects through design and construction phases.
•Strong understanding of engineering standards, permitting, and regulatory processes.
